"YUKON JACK" Oshetski

"YUKON JACK" Oshetski is an avid hunter and fisherman. He has over 75 whitetail bucks to his credit hunting in Pennsylvania, New York, and Saskatchewan, Canada. He belongs to the New York State Big Bucks Club harvesting a great 10 pointer with a bow that grossed 140 5/8 pounds and netted 123 3/8 pounds. He has hunted northern New Mexico twice, while on horseback, getting a 5x5 and a 5x6 bull elk. He has also harvested 2 black bears using trained dogs in Bethel, Maine. Although this hunt is difficult, chasing the dogs and the bears up and down the Appalachian Mountains, "YUKON JACK" finds the rewards to be superb. He has also killed a bull moose in High Level, Alberta, Canada. However, the crowing achievement of his hunting career was a Trophy Alaskan/Yukon Moose Hunt with Jim Shockey out of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada where he got a "mega" moose with a spread of 63 inches and well over 1600 pounds. He also got an Alpha black male wolf that was over 7 feet in length and weighed 145 pounds. In addition, he has fished from Alaska to Maine to Key West, Florida and is in the process of planning his next exciting hunt; a 14 day safari to South Africa. Whether being in a tree stand in Saskatchewan, Canada for 11 hours a day and a week straight with temperatures below zero or climbing up the Canadian Rocky mountains at elevations over 7,500 feet, while pursuing the Alaskan/Yukon Moose, "YUKON JACK" understands what cold weather is all about. He relies on Red Rock Thermals to keep him warm and dry in any hunting situation and to help him concentrate on his hunting while not having to worrying about being cold, sweaty, and uncomfortable. We are pleased to have "YUKON JACK" as part of our prostaff and wish him luck with future hunts!
